I ‚hatched‘ on an organic farm in Northern Germany in 1984. I spent many good times in this beautiful place learning a lot about crafts and nature and allowing myself to discover and closely study animals, their behaviours and characterisitcs.
Since I was a child I loved to draw and sketch, especially animals, plants and landscapes. Back in school I started illustrating children books and an annual calendar, which was initially meant as an individual christmas present, but due to demand of friends and family, I started printing it in larger quantity over the years.
After school I followed the path of landscape architecture, which combines my passion for design and the environment. At work, I particularly like the process of bringing design visions to life graphically. In my spare time, I work on my own and commissioned illustration projects.
